Explaining the brain . . . simply.

Neuro Transmissions is a YouTube channel created by Alison Caldwell and Micah Caldwell that breaks down the complexities of your body's most amazing organ - the brain. As a neuroscientist and a therapist, Alie and Micah (respectively) bring their unique perspectives and backgrounds to each video, whether it's delving into what drugs can do to your neurons or illustrating the psychology of cat behavior or tackling the biological basis and clinical treatment of mental health disorders.

Most students never take a neuroscience-specific course. Almost all are limited to higher education classes. That's why we created Neuro Transmissions. The brain is one of the most fascinating and complex things in our world. It gives us consciousness, it is the mission control center for the body, it stores our memories, and (sometimes) it it can make us sick. Doesn't that sound like something worth learning more about? We started our channel to help grow neuroscience education. We want each and every person to be able to explore neuroscience, regardless of their age, education level, or socioeconomic status. Neuroscience doesn't have to be scary and it shouldn't be inaccessible.

We are firm believers in making science education accessible to all. Neuroscience becomes stronger when we learn together. We may create the content, but it would be nothing without all of you. Thank you for your support! We consider each of you a vital part of our growing community. Come back often to see what we've got going on!
